Big pimpin'

Yesterday I parked my butt in the den for 14 hours doing research for a literature review that I'm writing for graduate school. It was riveting.

Not only was it more fun than watching paint dry, but I got to stare at this the whole time-

Yep- my fabric stash. It just sat there, sadly starring at me, while I was neglecting it for homework. I'm pretty sure that at one point some beautiful Tula Pink fabric actually cried out to me "Kara...Kara! Why have you foresaken us?!" That may have been nearing hour 12 of research though so some hallucination may have been involved.

Anywho, you know what the best part about doing 35 hours of homework was yesterday? That lovely lady I get to, you know, love. :) She cleaned the whole house until it sparkled like the top of the Chrysler Building (oh, pleeeeeeeease tell me someone gets that quote!!!), did the laundry, took care of some grossness that Michael got into and got me prizes.
Prize numero uno- a ginormous, fluffy blanket.

Prize number deux- freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.

I like her a lot. :)

Anywho squared, I shut down Stella (the laptop, yo) just in time for me not to turn into a pumpkin...

And went to bed. Notice I didn't say I went to SLEEP. How is it that sometimes you are so tired you can't think straight but your mind won't turn off enough to get some shut eye? I tossed and turned for a good two hours before falling asleep.  Nanners.

Fast forward to this morning and this is what I found when I came out of the bathroom-
Yep- Michael in a camo wife beater.

It's quite a funny life I lead.

Enough chit chat- back to research and the fabric that won't stop talking smack about me. :)
